Important information
Lokenzo Park and Bayley Thomas and its employees do everything possible and reasonable to make horse riding as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Horses can be unpredictable and there is always the chance of serious injury and/or death. This is the case in any sporting activity.
Conditions of riding horses at Lokenzo Park or having lessons with Bayley Thomas
I agree to wear an Australian standards safety helmet and boots at all times when horse riding.
I agree to obey all instructions that relate to safety while horse riding.
Although Bayley Thomas will check the safety of the saddle (including its girth) and the bridle, I agree that I am responsible for the horse and equipment.
At any time if I do not feel comfortable with a particular activity (for example, cantering) or if I am feeling dizzy, sick or otherwise affected in my riding, I agree to tell the Bayley. Bayley can make alternative arrangements for you – for example, you can walk or trot the horse instead of cantering or you can dismount.
I agree that I am not to be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs while horse riding or in the vicinity of the horses.
I agree to disclose any medical condition or physical or mental disability (for example, epilepsy, asthma, hip replacement, previous injuries etc) that I have, or which my child has, which could affect horse riding.
I agree that I, and/or my child, understand English well enough to follow instructions about horse riding and safety.
When having a lesson with Bayley Thomas of Lokenzo Park I agree not to hold the company or its employees, or voluntary helpers, or other horse riders liable for any injury, disablement or death that may result from a horse riding activity.
LESSON PRICES (as at 1 January 2016) –
Standard lesson of 45 mins to 1 hour – $50
Shared lesson, 2 students 45 mins to 1 hour – $30 per person
Group lesson, 3 or more 45 mins to 1 hour – $20 per person
Half lesson, 20 to 30 minutes – $30
Travel (applies to all of the above if travel involved for Bayley) – $10
Prices are subject to change with sufficient notice from Bayley of not less than 2 weeks.
CANCELLATION POLICY – All lessons cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the commencement of the lesson are still to be paid in full except in the event of thunderstorms.
